Diaphragm is a condensed and sharp serif typeface available in three weights: Regular, Open, and Stencil. Each cut is a variation of aperture from a small opening (Regular) to wide (Stencil) as light progressively erases the finesses of the letters. The initial sketch was inspired by Howland, a typeface designed by John F. Cumming in 1892 for large-scale uses. Feel free to play with the OpenType features revealing thin punctuation & symbols as well as alternate k, K, & R – perfect for display purposes.
